At an established price, we will supply our native bee box along with nesting material and bees! Then at the end of the season, we will harvest the cocoons and store them. If you continue to want the service, we will bring the box back the following spring for a new season.
One season is Spring through Summer.

These bees do not produce honey since they are solitary and the female does all the work herself!

Providing a bee box still requires management to minimize pests & disease and to raise healthy bees. We do all the management for you!

Would you like to have more native bees in your backyard?
Did you know that native bees are the best pollinators for native plants in our area since they evolved together for thousands of years!
Native bees can provide better pollination rates and can even increase your yield of crops!
We provide a native bee service which we place a small bee box with native reeds and bees which will pollinate your backyard.
After about 4-6 weeks, the Mason bees will have filled some of the nesting material, but throughout the summer, other cavity nesting bees will also use these tubes. At the end of the season, we will take the box with the nesting material and bees to a safe place to store for the winter and if you continue to want this service, we will bring the box back the following Spring.

It is important to note that while the bees are provided with the nesting box, they may choose to nest elsewhere. Native bees seek out natural cavities such as plant stems, old beetle burrows, or other small openings. They do not create holes themselves but will use existing structures that suit their needs.
These native bees do not produce honey.
