Want to attract more native pollinators in your garden? Provide this beautiful, hand painted, and designed pollinator box!

These pollinator boxes are specifically designed for our native mason bees.

The tube inserts are where the mason bees will nest.

Mason bees are gentle, fun for families to learn about our native pollinators and pollinate your garden.

Bee diversity= Better Pollination

Dimension of this box is roughly 10x11x11

Weight is roughly 7 lbs and 5 oz

Faux copper top

Hook attached to back

The color blocks are orientation colors for the mason bees to easily find what tubes they are using.

Nesting material

100% recycled paper

Paper Easy Tear inserts for cocoon harvest

The Easy Tear inserts add an extra layer of protection against pests.

Replace the Easy Tear inserts every year.

How to install

Install the pollinator box at eye level against a fence, wall or tree facing south to southeast.

The bees do not like to be swinging in the wind so place the box somewhere sturdy.

Since Mason bees only have a foraging range of about 300ft, place the box close to your garden.

You need to have clayey mud close by as well.

Harvesting Cocoons

This is the best way to ensure the bees health, prevents the spread of diseases, and decreases the pest population.

Harvest time is October to November

Keep cocoons in a dry unheated place like a shed or garage until Spring

Release cocoons when temps are consistently 55 degrees F or warmer and open blossoms.

Make sure to release all cocoons by mid May.

you can put harvested cocoons in open space above nesting material

Mason Bees pollinate 95% of flowers they visit

This is also good for solitary beneficial wasps that will hunt garden pests.
